Dr. Andy Xian Zeng
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Chief AI Officer, Byterna Therapeutics
Dr. Zeng leads Byterna at the intersection of artificial intelligence and RNA medicine. He brings together AI-guided design, circular mRNA engineering and targeted delivery to advance the company’s in vivo CAR-T and personalized cancer vaccine programs. His research interests also include immune aging and the potential of circular mRNA for age-related diseases.
He earned a PhD in AI-Pharmaceutical Science from the National University of Singapore and previously served at Fudan University’s School of Pharmacy, where he led interdisciplinary research in pharmaceutical sciences, AI and mRNA drug discovery. At Byterna, he connects computational design with experimental evidence and therapeutic development to address unmet medical needs.
